Without gravity, we floated our way down.
So hard we laughed.
Tears streamed my face.
You couldn’t see them but knew they were there.
It made us laugh harder.
Maybe it was the neon lights in a
room of full-moon midnight, but
it hit me smack between the eyes…
...I will always catch your fall
and remind you that your safe place is
here in my arms.
Intensity followed as
eyes met eyes and lips met lips.
Electricity flashed signaling
the end of the game.
I prefer to believe that light was
sparks between us,
lighting a trail
through veins to hearts, as
they beat a bit faster
in the heat of our laser tag kiss.
