i just love the vitality and life oozing from your pictures and this is no exception – it is really a beautiful image and the colours are so vibrant and alive – love it.

looks like it has a little mistletoe as well as new buds. i love these old trees that stand alone in the middle of a pasture or field. great composition and its a beautiful scenic.

Thanks so much everyone, for all the kind comments. I forgot to mention, if you look closely, you can see that all the limbs are new growth and all the original limbs have broken off at one time. This is common in this area because of snowfall (5,010’ elevation).

Oh! Yes, JK there is a lot of mistletoe here also.
