Thanks Rose and Jeff. Yes, Louise, the fence was what caught my eye to take this shot. It was across a little valley and I had to use a telephoto. The original image is rather dull because of the low light. I have tried several treatments and this is one of the better ones.

i’m a big landscape fan and this is a lovely composition. its not just the fence, but the way the light is falling on it that creates such a strong dynamic. the fence being linear in nature is a great contrast to all the organics around it. well done.

Thanks, JK. Yes, the afternoon light on the fence caught my eye from across the valley and I had to shoot it, even though I couldn’t get closer (and still keep this composition) so had to use a long telephoto to compose it.
