    This one is simply incredible. Rany, Where was it taken? Rocks look like central oregon?
    I am talking with John Day Fossil Beds Nat’l Monument about accepting a “park Interpreter” position. I’ll keep you posted. Keep up incredible work!

    This is an incredible shot Rany…I have been there and shot some similar images,,,but not with that increduble sun as you have….do you know that a hollywood film crew were shooting there and used paint to make the native drawings more visible? The park serice said removing the paint would cause more damage….sad….

    Thanks everyone. Morris: I don’t remember if there is an exact age attributed to these markings. I think they are older than the most recent Indians to inhabit the area.
    Dave: This is Joshua Tree Park and is in an area that is probably too accessible for its own good. Good luck with the new position.
    Boyd: In the local literature they say that the paint damage was done by “vandals”. I guess a film crew qualifies as that!
