Winter came early this year …
a farmer told me that it is going to be a very long winter as the Rowans are overladen with berries – natures way of feeding the wildlife
– Chris Clark
If this carries on – it’s going to be a long, cold winter
just heard the weather forecast, getting milder towards the weekend and then next week becoming very cold yet again
Ah…lovely…so much of that lovely snow!
cheers Christopher, much appreciated

A familiar site in Edinburgh for the last two weeks huh Chris? I’m loving it though……..wish folk would stop moaning about it ;)) Great shot, one you should keep for many a year to show people what it was like during the most snow since 1963!
fully agree Andrew…..everyone should stop moaning and get a life, after all it’s only a bit of snow ………….. I remember when the winters were always like this in Edinburgh when I was a kid ……………. late 50’s and early 60’s we have all been nannied for the last 30-40 years and do not know how to cope
