Just as the moon was coming up over the Tyrolean sea and the lights were coming on down at the beach from my window in the Boca Hotel. That’s the Island of Capri Italy off in the distance. In late July there were still lovers on the beach. I later painted this same view, which you can see here on my bubble. Taken with Olympus Camedia C-60 Zoom

I am semi retired and love to travel with my 9X12 #140 Strathmore pad, my Sharpie Ultra Fine ink pen and five or six sticks of pastels or acrylics to color in my “finds” Sometimes I get real lucky and my wife Dawn will take some pictures I can use later. I seem to always be able to give some kind of sketch to my subjects or those bystanders who desperately want to give me some advice.

Well that’s our rented 40ft sail boat anchored off the 13th century light house. You will have to go sailing with us sometime.
