This image was layered and stitched from 50 exposures on my completely amateur Canon Rebel xTi.

FIFTY!

Geeze, that was a lot of button-pushing in a short moment. Seriously, I turned the little dial three clicks between each shot as the sun was sinking super-fast!

I am pleased with the results. Whew.

It is a beautiful image Randy. It is amazing what a talented artist can do with the ‘completely amateur’ Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi.

‘Ae, you dropped a note in my bubblemail this morning, and to answer your inquiry, yes, I do live in Makawao. Your lovely gallery is in the former Royal Motors Busline garage which was once run by the Haole family. They were once one of the original main bus lines on Maui. The Kahului Railroad Busline was the first, and for 10 cents one could ride from Haiku to Kahului. Aloha kakahiaka, Sharon

I cannot even comprehend how hard this must have been to get to the final cracker of a shot that you’ve got here. The image alone is breathtaking enough with the perfect clouds, beautifully lit mound at the end of the beach and water crashing nicely on the rocky foreground.
