Kaihalulu Beach, known to our tourists as “Red Sands”, is one of the hard-to-find-but-worth-the effort-places on this Earth.

The sand is the color of oxidized iron, which poured out of the volcanic cone before erosion opened this place up to the ocean.

It is also a mostly nude beach, where you will rarely find more than half a dozen bare or clothed butts at any given time
