Perhaps my favorite stretch of sand on Maui is this. Po’olenalena Beach is where I generally go to make images of hula dancers, and find quiet moments. Po’olenalena is “over the rocks” and so most tourists cannot find it.

This image is layered from 5 exposures, creating a High Dynamic Range effect.
