Ka Leo o Ka Makani
The title translates into “The Voice of the Wind”.
My genre for many years was Black & White, Hand-colored images of the Hawaiian people. I created this in 1994 on TMY film, push-processed to 800 ISO. My original hand-printed series is sold out, but I still sell many posters and gicle’e prints in my gallery.
This hula teacher is performing a “Kahiko Noho” dance—“ancient, kneeling”.
