Letters to friends
Ever wish you could say to your friend what really worries you about your friendship with them. Last night I had to . The open letters are the result. To protect the innocent no names were used, but while each letter refers to a specific friend I realised that many of them apply to many of my friends. I’m not sure what to make of that.
What I will think on further is the fact that a lot of those letters could be addressed to me.

I read those letters, and their sentiments have stayed with me all day. You have a way of really cutting to the quick with your brief and emotive writing. As for being addressed to you, I think if we’re brave enough to admit it, those letters are in one way or another addressed to all of us.

I read them all too, and applaud the clarity and connection they show. I can think of several people I could write letters to but in all honesty, I’d be too reluctant to begin, wary of what might come out. Like Adriana, these will stay with me all day….thanks for sharing them.
