This week we have had the wonderful experience of a juvenile wedge tailed eagle make its way into our garage, obviously a tad lost! We took it out onto our back lawn to release it, however, it seemed content to stick around for a while, so I was able to get some shots. Australia’s largest bird of prey, this eagle was stunning, and only slightly smaller than my 3 year old! It allowed us to feed it by hand and pat it gently, before flying away again. Things like that don’t happen every day, but one of the perfect things about living where we do :)
