Just a bit fun with the Isetta “bubble car”. I thought I would try to make a German flag.

Yep, a good bit of fun:-) Were there three or did you colour the one?
It is funny about flags and nationalism. Although I live here I don’t feel like hoisting or wearing one even as a t-shirt or cap – just as I wouldn’t for the Union Jack. But during the World Cup I wore an orange scarf when watching the Netherlands with some Dutch friends, a blue t-shirt with French friends, etc. but I did not don black, red, yellow … Not sure why.

Thanks Kasia. I was toying with calling it “schwarz rot gelb” but decided that Adenauer symbolised what was good in Germany rather than the unfortunate times. A flag is a symbol of a nation and its people and evryone should be able to feel pride in their flag. It’s not quite so in Germany as you say but that’s understandable in a way. Maybe one day things will change. Does that sound daft? Maybe I haven’t put it well.

Oh, there was only one. It was pale blue.
