Thanks. It’s not really a home as such but it certainly could feel that way if youwere out there in the winter. It’s a bothy or mountain shelter which is free for all to use. The lighting is really special.

It’s a bothy. Anyone can go and stay there for free when out walking in the hills. you have to treat bothies like your home (even if there is no running water, no electricity, no toilet, no furniture (get the idea?) and leave it as or better than you found it. When we were there, there was a group of youngsters and their expidition leaders (the latter stayed inside, the former outside). Different world? S’pose you are!

I really like the mood you have created here – a wonderful low key light painting.
A very interesting subject in a great setting, composed and photographed extremely well.
I feel a deep sense of loneliness and isolation yet I can’t take my eyes off it.
