Short stories - Spherical Scriptings and WMG

Once upon a time there was a place, not too far from the sun, where the blue waters nourished the green fields, where butterflies danced with the birds upon the clearest sky, where animals and humans learned to live together, where Nature feasted your eyes in a perpetual spectacle. She died in the fall to reborn in the spring. She left all her green leaves to rust on the chilly land covering the world with hazel colors and cooling the air with her icy tears that poured from a sky as blue as the ocean waves. But as the fall finished her performance the magnificent sky became gray and as the ground swallowed the leaves, the water turned to snow whitening the world. That was her rest and, as she was asleep, all other living creatures joined her sleep, leaving the silence to cover the world like a thick blanket.
And now the winter scenery ruled upon the world for another three months, until the first straw of grass hatched, appearing from under the snow and awakening all living creatures. And the whiteness of the land turned to green and the joyful songs of nightingales replaced the silence. The trees blossomed celebrating spring, the victory of life upon death, and the scent of hyacinths and lilies filled the air. The sky returned to its beautiful blue color, watering from time to time the newborn flowers and helping the land to give birth to delicious fruits like cherries and all kind of berries that completed with their flavor and delicious taste the fiesta.
But the earth grew warmer and warmer as the spring days were over and the sky became dry and clear making people to get out from their houses and enjoy the beautiful sun rays. The green fields and the warm waters reigned for another three months till the sun burned the land again and the fall came along like a widow to weep after the sunny summer days.
Now we can only remember those days because we killed the spring and melted the winter transforming Earth in a slight recollection of what used to be, a shadow that dies slowly day-by-day and, in our selfishness, we don’t understand that we are dying along with it. We will cease to breathe when the sky will cease to be blue and the land will remain dry and dark forever. We will kill this place like we did before with all other places till will not be a drop of water in the universe and the sun will decide to take us in.
