This is really beautiful Chuck. The fall colors set off the green mountain slopes so well and the clouds do a nice framing job.

Mist and low lying clouds really adds to the photo but a lot of times opportunities don’t happen. It seems the occurrence of fog is more common during autumn due to the warm days and cool nights.
Yes,this was also very early in the morning and had just quit raining.

This is great.
I just found a great new spot to take shots of this monolith. They have logged off of the Seniard Ridge Trail and there are some great views of Looking Glass. You can access it from the Fish Hatchery.
Now this one is really a beautiful one!! Love the fall colors there and then the deep green all the way to the top of the mountain. Also love all the clouds around the top!!
