Chuck, this one is fantastic!!!! you really hit the nail on the head with this baby … the graduated colors from cold at the top to warm at the bottom is genius … the barn itself, falling down but still in use is a work of art!!!!! I love it!!!!!

Well spotted.
A great study in warm and cold colors Chuck. The eye immediately goes to the light area before the barn, then to the barn and finally into the depth of the image. Well told story.

Makes a nice print, is this one that isn’t there any longer? I have a few old shots like that. Even some when they kept the large steers and cows.
I feel that these old structures are what made Cades Cove what it was. With most of these barns gone its just not the same. Of course those who aren’t familiar with the place won’t know the difference.
