Kundalini is innate for all people: At the base of the spine, subtler than the physical body, lies the Kundalini energy, or spiritual energy, in a latent form. Regardless of what religious, spiritual, or meditation tradition one follows, the awakening of this energy, by whatever name you call it, is a most innate and essential part of spiritual advancement, unfoldment, or realization.
Kundalini literally means coiled. In yoga, a “corporeal energy” or “coiled power” – an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force or Shakti, lies coiled at the base of the spine.It is envisioned either as a goddess or else as a sleeping serpent, hence a number of English renderings of the term such as ‘serpent power’.

in your description you talk about serpent power. one night, when I was young, I dreamed about a serpent who entered my belley by muladhara chakra to protect me during 14 years. that dream was very intense and vivid for years!
