I have always had a love of capturing images and in my early teens took many photographs on my little Kodak camera. I loved the wild open spaces and bird life in particular and longed to be able to be an accomplished photographer. It took ill health and a forced early retirement to re-kindle this love of photography. I am a self-taught amateur photographer who has had no formal training. I take great pride and joy in my work and these days have the time to pursue this wonderful hobby.

A truly stunning capture Ralph!! Was down there myself just last Sunday!! Magic place! Great colours and tones throughout – beautiful framing – well done mate!

  • Thanks very much Matt for your wonderful comment. Did you have good weather? We spent five days along the Great Ocean Road and it was only on our last day that the sun really came out. Very frustrating.

Very frustrating indeed, most unlucky for you – we had sunny weather all weekend! Bloody cold in the mornings and evenings due, partly, to the wind chill, but the sun came out through the day and made up for it. We were based in Port Fairy and stopped by all these landmarks on the way home – a great end to the trip! I’ll have to chuck some pics up shortly!

  • Rub it in, wont you Matt, you certainly were very lucky I guess.
