I have always had a love of capturing images and in my early teens took many photographs on my little Kodak camera. I loved the wild open spaces and bird life in particular and longed to be able to be an accomplished photographer. It took ill health and a forced early retirement to re-kindle this love of photography. I am a self-taught amateur photographer who has had no formal training. I take great pride and joy in my work and these days have the time to pursue this wonderful hobby.

BIG CATS ARE GORGEOUS,,,IT’S A SHAME THAT ONE DAY, THE ONLY PLACE TO SEE THESE BIG CATS WILL BE IN A ZOO. IT SEEMS THEIR SPECIES IN THE WILD,,, IS SLOWLY BEING KILLED OFF SO SOME JERK CAN HAVE IT MOUNTED IN HIS GAME ROOM. I LIKE TAKING TROPHIES WITH MY CAMERA,,, I CAN SHOOT HIM AND LET HIM GO,,,JUST LIKE A KEEPER SIZE STURGEON,,,AFTER I TAKE MEASUREMENTS AND PHOTOS,,,IF I WANT,,,AND I DON’T HAVE ANY STURGEON MEAT IN THE FRIDGE OR FREEZER,,,,I CAN STILL LET HIM GO BACK TO GET MUCH BIGGER. MY BIGGEST TROPHY STURGEON WAS IN THE VACINITY OF 250 POUNDS AND A LITTLE OVER 8 FEET IN LENGHT. MY BIGGEST ELK IS A 7 BY 7 AND I SHOT HIM AND LET HIM WALK AS WELL. KEEP SHARING SHOTS OF THESE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. UNFORTUNATELY, I DON’T GET TO SEE MANY OF THEM IN REAL LIFE. BOB ;)

  • Thank you very much for your comments Bob. Much appreciated. It is very sad to think that in years to come the zoo’a might be the only place where one could see these beautiful cats.
