LOOKING FORWARD-LOOKING INWARD
Captured this image at Neeldhara, Haridwar, where different streams of river Ganges merge to form the great Holy Ganges. These people were sitting their enjoying nature. It was 7 in the morning, I just noticed them, and there was no hint in my mind to capture them. The sun was coverd by a thick layer of fog. I kept shooting here and there. Suddenly the sun started showing up on their side. When I looked in the view finder, I thought this is something I am looking for. I moved and composed them and this was all by the grace of God I could do this.

What a wonderful shot, Rakesh!!
You’re right, You were certainly inspired by God to keep looking back at them, God made the beautiful morning complete with the fog and all.
I’m so used to seeing people only out in the dry sunshine to enjoy nature, that I welcomed the new (to me) idea of enjoying nature as it is, as God made it each second. Thank you for being such a good teacher to me this morning!

this one stands out every time I see it, Rakesh – I love the mood, the composition and the almost monochromatic setting. Very touching.
