I am into photos, drawing, music (singing and playing the guitar) and written expression.
I am not into narrowing of minds, hatred in hearts and judging a book by its cover which reminds me, I am also into books!

With Photos I generally enhance them using Picassa – for cropping and colour, or Photoshop CS3.

My camera is a Canon sx200is and most shots are taken with that particularly the more recently added shots, any others are taken with my old Sony camera, and that will be stated on the shots.

Writing

Our Great Escape

No matter how far from home we venture – it always feels like home if I can share it with you

The Solace of the Cave

Growing, forming the tights that drip down and the mights that reach up. I was engulfed inside you. I was mesmerised by you.

MASQUERADE

Representations of the self. Reflections of the self, the inner essence, inspire feelings of contentment, but this was not always so.

The Party

She was confused but curiously relieved, it had been so long since she had let anyone be that close, and maybe another drink would not hurt to help break her out of her self-created cage.

Winter

As she stepped outside a blast of cool air chilled her to the bone. Aware she was not alone, she stood tall. / “Who are you?” she asked, “what are you doing here?”

Rich and Poor

They may have travelled and dined amongst the wealthy, they may even be “friends” with other well-to-do people, but without love, tenderness or accomplishment, their experiences tend to be poor.
