Artist's Description

On January 1st, 2013, my family and I drove 220 miles from our South Puget Sound home on the Key Peninsula, to the ‘other’ Peninsula, the Olympic Penisula. This led us from sea level to high into the Olympic mountains and into the vast beauty of snow and trees in the Olympic National Forest. This gorgeous view alone was well worth the miles, but of course, the landscape didn’t let me stop with just one—by the time we got home there were 78 photos on the camera!
