Pride of the Key Peninsula by Kathleen Hamilton

This is one of my favorite places to stop in for a cup of coffee on the Key Peninsula in Washington state. A little yellow building tucked in along State Route 302, it has a beauty salon, Three Cloud bakery, and Ravensara coffee shop. There is almost always a line of cars around the back of the building in the drive-through. We all stop in for a freshly baked morning bun, a latte, or mocha, or Chai tea, and smiling, friendly faces. And it’s the little things that make it special, and fresh flowers are just one example.

I am many things. I am a goat farmer, a wife, a jewelry maker, a procrastinator, a space cadet, an old woman, a wanderer, but most importantly, here I am an artist with a camera.
