Winding a slight trail through green places,
Casting the age-long shadow?

Resounding through silent grey stone,
With etched faces turned towards the sea,
Bearing hints that once, just once
You were there
Swaying to the music,
Listening to the tales,
Playing games with a spinning top.

Are you still somewhere,
Still real,
Dancing in the streets?
