    Loudonville is a tiny town in NE Ohio, in the Mohican forest area, where they have 2 big native pow-wows every year. One year my then-girlfriend and I stopped our car after the pow-wow in July to help out a Seneca guy whose car had a bent rim. He sang a Seneca prayer (sans drum) in my back seat as we drove him around, looking for a tire store open on Sunday. We didn’t find one, so I lent him a wheel, and he said he’d bring it back to Mohican for September’s pow-wow. Sure enough, come September he did.
