My passion for photography started when I was very young. I have been taking photographs almost all my life. After studying photography at high school and spending a few weeks as a photographer’s assistant, I somehow ended up studying Administration at Business College and photography became an unfulfilled dream. I went on to set up a successful administration and marketing business which has been operating for over 15 years.

In the summer of 2004/05 I bought a new Nikon and travelled to India. A turning point in my life, this trip not only reignited my passion for photography but inspired me to see the world in a whole new light. What can appear on the surface to be ugly or depressing can in fact be something of amazing beauty. In the land of extremes, I discovered a new side to myself and an overwhelming desire to share with others the beauty of this world.

I find it hard to classify the photos I take … but the consistent themes throughout are beauty, colour, texture and composition.

I photograph things that touch my heart, that inspire me and I love to capture the patterns of nature.

But most importantly, I want to share with others the way I see this world … in all its glorious beauty.
