Enough of the Field
This is one of my favourite pieces, partly because I was happy with how it came out aesthetically, but also because of the reaction I get when I show people. They either think it is a very happy picture or a very sad picture, and I believe this is down to which side of the photograph they are drawn to first.
Naturally, there is a level of progression across the picture – I had to wait for that little black cloud to float over to where I wanted it to take this shot.

I wish I had looked at it properly before reading the accompanying text to see how I would have initially interpreted it.
Still, given my pessimistic, and somewhat misanthropic view on life, I find myself seeing it as a very sad image.
