This work stems from reading blogs and articles surrounding public breastfeeding. I saw great support in the articles and quite the opposite. Men and women describing breastfeeding as “dirty and gross”.

Great series. I’m at a loss to understand why anyone would describe such a fundamental and vital process as dirty & gross. Guilt, I guess.
I remember reading about people of all ages being surveyed about this question; sometimes those who complained about it hadn’t actually noticed the feeding mums discreetly doing what they had to (placed there deliberately, to make a point). Teenage lads were the most disgusted…
