I’d like to know the story behind this one. The title has me interested… The eyes are so beautiful. Features appear almost masculine. Is that a tear on the cheek?

This addresses self loathing in females. The kind that is learned from your own mother, or grandmother. That if you are not pretty you are not valuable. And here a tear is shed by an “all feeling mother” trying to understand superficiality and reeling in how to prevent it in her own daughter.
