The sun was shining and the bees were buzzing on a warm September morning at this delightful sunflower field just down the road from my house in Ohio. I’d been meaning to shoot these sunflowers for several years, but always seemed to miss the peak bloom. I made a point of getting there one sunny morning and spent about an hour shooting various angles and compositions. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was quite a busy spot that day. As you can tell from my portfolio, flowers are one of my favorite subjects to shoot. This image is one of my personal favorites.
