    OMG! I haven’t even HEARD the name crabapples in years! I used to love them and that’s all I remember: not the taste, texture, smell, nada. Sorta like dumplings – missing in action, missing in memory.

  • Thanks, Lenny! I remember them from my childhood too (if that’s the time you were talking about). We used to pull them off the trees and play with them. I think we ate them too. Check out my photo “Morning Light on the Crabapple Tree” for the same tree as it looks in the fall with all the crabapples on it.
