Kentucky Wildcat

Kentucky Wildcat

True Blue fan… not me… the cat. :)

Taken on a farm in rural Kentucky. The older couple who lived there were very kind about letting a stranger photograph their cat. I’m sure they thought I was a bit odd for that though.
No selective coloring done to this… just as is.

Kentucky Wildcat belongs to the following groups:

Cool work, Rachel. I love the selective color, and I love that blue. The cat is cute of course too.

  • RachelJayne replied

Thank you Mariann! No selective coloring used though.. this is just as it was shot. I have a couple more of the same cat in the chair that I want to look through… she was so cozy there. The people were very friendly and talkative after I asked if I could photograph their cat :)

well if someone said to me “who could make a cat, a grubby chair and a paint stripped wall look good” i would have to say Rachel Leigh, (i think i just won the corney award)it all goes together so well is what im saying and you have such an original touch to your captures.

  • RachelJayne replied

Jodi is right, Rachel, you can make any scene a master work, that called talent, and artistic insight. Would you mind to send some of that over this end of the country? LOL.

Beware of this breed. They like to lounge in beautiful old chairs of bright colors to make them look quite docile in contrast, but this breed can be very dangerous. Be sure that if you are in sniffing distance you have wiped yourself clean of all milk and fish. All funning aside….this is a beautiful photo and an inst. fav.

  • RachelJayne replied

    Thank you so much!

Excellent. Looks like kitty’s been photographed before – that bored expression says “ok, click the picture so I can get back to my nap.” -J:

  • RachelJayne replied

Thanks Jay… I think his owners did tell me that they had followed him around trying to get some shots on occassion. :)
