I’m a Native NYer and have been studying art for most of my life. Art is a way to express what’s inside and bring it out. It’s the greatest feeling in the world to have someone you don’t know say “I like that”! It makes you feel the world is closer and people are more alike than different. I am proud that my father and I study together how to be better artists and people with Dorothy Koppelman in the Critical Inquiry class. We are so fortunate to have our instincts looked at as well as our art, and to have the best thing brought out in us! I wish there was more time to create because it is the thing in life that brings me the most peace and the most satisfaction. I recently switched from painting to photography first because of the time factor, now out of love. I think that some images blur the line between the two – and I like that!
