Thanks so much ImagesFX. Heres how she goes. I take sometimes one, but most of the time 3 images each 2f stops apart. So we have one at the proper exposer, one +2 above and one -2 below. Then I take them into the program called Photomatix. There you combine all the images and tonemap (turn them into a HDR)
You have many adjustments you can makei in Photomatrix to the HDR to suit your own style. Then I take it into Nikon Capture NX and do lighting adjustments, cropping and sharpening. Sometimes I take it into Adobe Lightroom to do Vignettes around the edges. With this shot I used one exposer which is not a true HDR to some. With only one image Photomatrix will do a pseudo HDR and do the best it can with the image. Hence the results. Hope that I was not to long winded and that I helped you understand how this image was produced.
