Hi I’m Lizzy a 22 year old art student, currently studying ceramics and Glass at degree level. I have been creating many weird and wonderful things for many years now and take most of my inspiration from Alice in Wonderland and anything a bit surreal and mental. I have found clay to be my most comfortable medium and love sculpting. I take a particular interest in animals, focussing mainly on the rabbit as the subject in my sculpture and paintings. I have an affinity with rabbits and have somehow become slightly obsessed; i think i may of been one in a past life;) I love the freedom of using many processes and experimenting with lots of different materials. I really put my life into my art and spend everyday thinking of new innovative ways of expressing myself and splashing paint all over everything. You’ll often see me walking down the street with clay and paint all over m face, this is a style i’ve become accustomed too and thankfully my boyfriend thinks the look rocks. I need to take holidays as often as possible as my brain never sleeps and i would spontaneously combust if i didn’t get away from it from time to time.
