So many dead, abused, neglected kids in the news lately. The worst thing is it’s probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Don’t think that it’s not your problem, or it’s not worth getting involved. Don’t think that it’s someone else’s responsibility to report it.

It’s important to be the voice of the kids who can’t speak up for themselves. When everyone turns a blind eye – we are telling these kids their life is worth nothing. Ignoring abuse amounts to tolerance.

Call child services. Call the police. Call their school. Talk to your government representative. Let it be known that child welfare is something we want our taxes spent on. Be strong and persistent until the children of our community are safe.
