Nikon Coolpix S640
people ed hospital waiting room
Wonderful capture of these characters!! I think a story could be told about each one from this. (even Ms. high heel!)
I think this should be called ‘footwear’. This is a nicely balanced picture.
i love the title, says a lot about what this image is and adds to the storytelling. i wonder why you included the heel but i think it adds a lot to image, of what kind of people were taking a haitus before being on the move. superb Carol…now i know why you’ve disappeared lately. hehe
Ever since I added a tiny Nikon S640 (12 meg capacity though) to my two other larger-sized cameras, nobody is safe from me… Sitting near me in public places can be a risky thing since it’s so easy to whip the wee camera out and surreptitiously shoot away. Where possible I try to let natural conditions ‘disguise’ my victims identities – (eg waited till the lady at left lifted the bottle) – and I included the shoe at right because it seemed to give a balance to the other side of the image, indicates some facing seating, and also carries the scene beyond that framed. And yes, I’ve been out of town for a couple of weeks. Thanks again for your wonderful comments SR :)))
:-) The title says it all Carol, great moment you have captured
Like that feet on the right. You are awesome at this, Carol, for placing elements at or near the edge of the frame that make or breaks the image – such as “in the stall”, “no exit”, and “that ol rocker”.
What a fabulous capture this is – it says it all about waiting. It is a hospital, but it could be any waiting room anywhere. xx
Wonderful capture love looking closely at the people and the area they are in. Like the processing to. : )
Lovely Carol, THE stories are out there, just for you to pick up :)) xxx
