War of the Worlds
My imagination is a bit over the top with the title but the tank in such close proximity to the building gave the appearance it was going to step on it. It reminded me of the tall mechanical aliens from the movie-so I ran with it. I’ve been on hiatus from shooting for several weeks so today was my first outing & it found its way onto R.B.

Did you know that when the Orson Welles version of this story aired on the radio in 1938, people were taking shots at water towers, thinking they were the Martian machines attacking Earth?
Ron Quick replied
I knew many people thought it was real on the radio but I idid not know about the shooting of water towers-how appropriate thanks for the info.-adds to the pic!
Gary Gurr
Great work Ron, I like the title, super POV and capture.
Ron Quick replied
Thanks Gary-I was on the ground on my back trying to squeeze the whole pic into the frame almost reverted to digging a hole to get more in:)Again thanks for the comment!

Awesome, and the title is synergistic! ie. I mean it makes the photo even better.
Ron Quick replied
Appreciate the comment CarmelL-I thought of the title when I was on my back on the ground trying to capture the building and the tower into the frame. I think the title of a pic is important dont understand why so many pics on R.B. are left blank(untitled)?
