Blissful Release

Poem I wrote in my senior year. I havent written anything in a while, I think I lost my Teenage Angst!

Oh what is madness?
A torment to rip apart thy soul?
What then is love?
Is it yet another torment,
to crush thy resolve to pieces,
and leave thee for dead?

In this light, what then is Jealousy?
The craving for Love,
that which thou dost not recieveth?
The pain that cometh from not having that
which would make thy life so fulfilled?

T’is worse than the torment of having it,
and losing it to the darkest depths of density.
T’would be a blissful release
to be freed from the pain of emotion.

Aye, t’would be a blissful release.
