Relaxing on a beach in the Cook Islands, South Pacific.

The image was taken on One Foot island near Aitutaki which is part of the Cook Islands in the South Pacific.

This is a coral beach not a sand beach so the feet are actually covered by tiny pieces of dead coral which gives the extremely coarse effect.

The image was shot on slide film and scanned using a Nikon CoolScan III film scanner.
