Glorious colours, they really do take it seriously don’t they? hugsxxx

  • Yes Hilary, they do. I just happened to turn up when they arrived and i found it so interesting watching them, They fixed these small radio transmitters onto their tails, then they took the birds out of their respective boxes and then at a given time from a walkie talkie, they were off. It,s all taken very seriously. Many thanks.

John, good stuff, thanks for the close-up and information on the colorful pigeons. Are they just for show/art or serve a purpose?

  • Thanks, i think it,s for recognition purposes, there are many pigeon clubs and societies, they show them within the circuit of their own area. Every day, a different club will let their birds out for a fly around and being homing birds will always go back to their roost.
