Living on a farm, as I do, I’m provided unique opportunities to photograph plants and creatures. There are not many trees here, and no mountains or rocks; but there are a lot of fields! The bright sun gives me many lovely silhouettes to capture; while the rain brings out tiny plants and creatures. Sometimes I visit another town or province; and then my Canon EOS 550D works overtime.

oh this is so nice… what is orania like?

  • Well, I don’t know how old you are, but if you’re about my age, you would remember the Old South Africa… Well, Orania is better than that… on some points… other points is it the same as the rest of South Africa currently… The best of the place is that you can sleep with your doors and windows open. There is on a scale out of 10, perhaps 0,001% crime. People who is caught doing any crime, have to leave town immediately… There is no police. The only danger is when you’re going for a walk, that some dogs scare you with a sudden bark…

Thank you for commenting and favouring my work … :-)
