Living on a farm, as I do, I’m provided unique opportunities to photograph plants and creatures. There are not many trees here, and no mountains or rocks; but there are a lot of fields! The bright sun gives me many lovely silhouettes to capture; while the rain brings out tiny plants and creatures. Sometimes I visit another town or province; and then my Canon EOS 550D works overtime.

    Absolutly beautiful capture. You may want to check with Rasnidreamer she does a lot of images with butterflies and moths she may know the name.

    Did it’s flight remind you of a hummingbird moth? Kind of reminds me of a pic I have of a hummingbird moth. Nice shot!
