I have never really thought about the man’s point of philosophical view in a song before
- you made me think of it now!

Will I ever hear you play it for real! – a pub the smell of stale beer in the carpet, the murmers of almost out of it audience members and they’re missing the best work that the muso’s trying out!

Perhaps a soft fire warmth filtering from the old potbelly stove … the tinkle of glass wear and silver on china pleasant hum of talking quietens to listen respectfully the smell of wine and onions and redgum logs and the soft light on you …..mmmmm
