She doesn’t like to be surprised.
She likes to give without showing.
I’d give her everything and more.
I don’t care about the waiting.
I’d follow her around the world.
I wish she’d throw her arms around me.
Waiting for the 3.00am phone call.
We don’t talk about much at all.
Another time, another place.
With a different set of circumstance.
She prides herself against nothing.
And decides she has no chance.
I guess I’ll settle for the wanting.
And to no-one come a second place.
I’m thinking of her.
I’d break the rules and then recover.
She likes to paint the world grey.
I’ll save her from herself today.
