I wish I was a window.

We’ve all experienced it.
It’s right there, offering itself to you openly, wantingly, uninhibitedly.
You reach out and take a mouthful.
The taste is sweet and hypnotising and you transform from man into beast.
Then you hear that little voice inside your head and she sees that look in your eyes.

They seem to sneer at my immobility.

So that I, I could talk to your mirror.
I’d like to watch your problems evolve and dissolve.
I’d like to be your window, open like a mind.
The air that you breathe, supplied through me.
You can always look through me and my undying transparent love.
When you press your face against me I will always kiss you.
A kiss filled with shards of passion.
