This is the sequel to The Approach It was captured at the same station in Shepparton, just facing in opposite directions!
Used a Sony Alpha with a 28 – 70mm in B&W mode. Post prod involved contrasting, a little “neating” and a slight crop to the bottom of the frame.

Thank you awoni! :D
love it – the motion blur is amazing
Paul, I think of you each time I see a train. Love this in B & W. Love the reflection on the train as well. Great shot.
i love the ghosting translucent quality of the train. excellent motion and contrast. very nicely done.
fantastic – love the speed, the reflection and the black and white – feels ghostly
Thank you kindly Heather!
That’s a wonderful thing to say Susan! :D
Thanks so much JK!! :D
Deborah, thank you so much! :D
I like this one better Paul. The negative effect on the other did nothing for me, but this is fantastic. The fact that you can see the exact shape of the train is hard thing to capture. I know from experience. Brilliant work.
Excellent as ever Paul
Stunning work. What an incredible reflection in the train. Are you going to be offering this as a card?
