Kitsmumma
Like the de-constructed brick wall look in this one Paul. I have been meaning to ask you about the titles you give these images. Do you make them up or are they the actual names of the properties? Living in the country, nearly every home has a name, so I was just wondering…..and if you are making them up, where do you get them from? Great work, as always Paul.
Paul Louis Vil...
Hello Kitsmumma!! Thanks for your beautiful comments! The names of these images simply come from the names of the streets they are in! :D
Kitsmumma
AAAAhhh!! I didn’t even think of that. Great stuff Paul! Hope you are having a nice morning. Liked your poem today too by the way!

Another beautiful image paul, this place reminds me of one of the many houses i used to live in., in Adelaide, back so many years ago….it has such character, and once again love the stormy skies !!
Heather Meadows
wow this is such a great image – love the colors, such an eerie feeling
Cathie Tranent
This one is a new favourite!! Although the decay is a bit less genteel than some of the others, it somehow has a real defiant feel to it!!

Nicole Goggins

Paul Louis Vil...
Thank you again Kismumma!! :D
To alexa70, I used to travel to and from Adelaide a little so your words ring true, especially about surburban Adelaide! :D
Thanks so much Heather, I’ve always said that one thing I love about art is each individual person takes from a piece of art what they each individually feel. :D
Hello CathieT, I must admit the decay is what drew me this home in the first instance but once processed I saw a couple of other highlights! :D
Oh Melinda! Love being on the home page!! blush Thank you for the compliment! blush again!!
Thank you so much Nicole your words of encouragement are always appreciated! :D

Hi Paul, heaps of thought and some great artistic talent gone into producing this image. Love the saturation, colours and the fact that it has a relationship with the viewer. Keep up the great work. In fact, I might wanter around Cairns on Monday and see if I can get some images of Queenslanders. Great inspiration!!
Juilee Pryor

Oh, I thought the names related to an area where the type of house was typical.
They constitute a brilliant series regardless, but I was kind of looking forward to The Californian or The Bungalow. Whatever, keep them coming!

Ozcloggie
My parents and I and another couple, and their daughter, lived together, in our first house, in Australia (Matraville / Hillsdale), by end of 1956. It was our way of getting out of the migrant hostel and getting established.
We had our happiest years there.
Thanks for the memory!
