Nice composition, the view of the background through the speeding train really adds to the sense of motion – and gives it a ghostly feel as well.

what a wonderful image. I love how you made a composite of 2 images to create a visual of a stationary and moving object which are basically the same. The selective coloring and the tonal range compliments the image in a very dramatic and beautiful way.

this has such a bizarre yet familiar feel to it…like one of those really hot days, where you can feel the stillness and oppression, then something moves breifly and is gone….and then back to hot empty oppression. Love the mood of this, it’s like a movie – awesome PLV!

Great shot Paul I love the way you can see so much detail through the train….It looks like a ghost train. I assume you have made the shot of the train transparent and over layed it on to the shot of the background? If this was shot at night a similar effect could have been acheived with a single exposure. Cool processing as usual.
